Elevating the Framing: How to Align an Art Foundation with their Sophistication.
The Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation (CIFO) was founded by Ella Fontanals-Cisneros to support contemporary Latin American artists and promote cross-cultural dialogue through exhibitions, grants, and commissions. As a key figure in global art philanthropy, Ella’s eye for curation and commitment to Latin America’s cultural capital has shaped one of the most respected art foundations in the region.

The Challenge
CIFO had long held a prestigious reputation within the art world, yet its digital presence and brand narrative lacked the coherence, sophistication, and modern aesthetic that matched its curatorial impact. The foundation needed a contemporary platform and storytelling approach that could spotlight both Ella’s refined vision and the untapped creative energy of Latin America—without compromising on clarity or accessibility for global audiences.

The Insight
Ella’s curatorial legacy is not just about collecting—it’s about revealing. She uncovers the overlooked, repositions the misunderstood, and champions artistic voices that shape cultural evolution. This became our north star: reimagining CIFO not just as a foundation, but as a curatorial lens focused on Latin America’s creative future.

The Result
CIFO emerged with a modern identity that reflects its global status while staying rooted in Latin America’s creative soul. Today, the foundation’s digital ecosystem matches the sophistication of its mission, drawing in new collectors, curators, and cultural collaborators. Through this strategic and aesthetic transformation, CIFO now speaks the language of contemporary art—not just visually, but emotionally and intellectually.
