When Taste Becomes Strategy: How timeless ambition built a family of brands.
Cisneros is a legacy name in Latin American business, known for building some of the most iconic and successful ventures in the region—from Pepsi Venezuela to pioneering telecommunications and cultural institutions across continents. With ventures spanning from mobile companies sold to BellSouth and Telefónica to deep-rooted contributions in the arts, the Cisneros family represents a unique intersection of visionary entrepreneurship and refined cultural sensibility.


The Challenge
To be entrusted with developing the complete brand ecosystem for one of Latin America’s most successful and emblematic family dynasties was both an honor and a high-stakes challenge. Mrs. Cisneros, known for her tireless energy, discerning taste, and global vision, commissioned RDLB to create a unified yet flexible architecture for a constellation of companies—ranging from real estate and furniture to private collections and cultural foundations—all under the umbrella of the EFC brand family.

Each brand was treated as an extension of Mrs. Cisneros herself—driven, refined, and globally fluent. We unified visual identities, naming conventions, and communication tone, all while respecting the individual character of each sub-brand. The brand aesthetic draws on Mrs. Cisneros’s impeccable taste and international experience, from Asia to Europe to Latin America.
